How to Send a SMS From a WAP Page
1. Find software that is capable of sending push messages to the cell phone user through the PC. Some examples are Headwind SMS, m2 Server and Active Xperts Software.
2. Connect your cell phone to the PC using a USB cable. The smaller end is adapted to a connection point on the bottom of your cell phone. The larger end is plugged into your computer's USB port. The software will configure the SMS sending mode that it needs to use.
3. Move your cursor over the web page URL you are trying to send and right-click and select 'Copy.'
4. Go to google.com/gwt/n if your web page is too long for your mobile. This site will adapt the web content for free. Click 'Paste' and convert the content.
5. Enter the URL of the web page in the form and it will adapt the website to your cell phone. If it is an adapted version supplied by Google, paste it here by right-clicking and selecting 'Paste.' Many websites have adapted their URLs for mobile webs, so converting it on Google may not be necessary.
6. Open the web page in a web browser, right-click and select 'Copy.'
7. Open the software used for pushing the WAP message and click 'Send SMS' in the dialog box.
8. Click 'WAP Push.'
9. Right-click and select 'Paste' in the URL field.
10. Paste URL directly onto your phone. Many cell phones have the capability of extracting URLs, which makes this much easier to send.
11. Type the message comment and enter the recipient's phone number and press the 'Send' button on your cell phone to send an SMS message.
