How to Send Free SMS From PCs to Mobiles


Txt 2 Day
1. Go to txt2day.com (see Resources). On the right side of the page, you will see the SMS generator. Read the terms and conditions before moving forward to the next step.
2. Go to the SMS generator and enter the cell phone number you want to text. Entering your return e-mail address is optional, though doing so lets your contact send a reply. If you do not enter your e-mail address, she cannot reply to you.
3. Select the cell phone provider of your contact. Enter your text message in the field provided. Do not go over the maximum allowance of 140 characters.
4. Answer the anti-spam problem. Agree to the terms of service and click 'Send It.'
Sea SMS
5. Go to seasms.com (see Resources). Scroll down the page to 'Send Free SMS.'
6. Select your destination on the map. Select the recipient's cellular operator from the list provided.
7. Type your message in the 'Message' field. Enter the recipient's cell phone number, including area code, in the 'To' field. Type your name in the 'Your Name' field, then select 'Send.'
Online Text Message
8. Go to onlinetextmessage.com ( see Resources). On the right side of the page you will see the generator.
9. Enter the mobile number, including area code, in the first field. Enter your e-mail address in the next field. Include a subject in the 'Subject' field, then select the carrier of the cell phone you are SMS messaging to.
10. Inserting a quick text is optional if you do not want to type your message out. Proceed to enter your message in the 'Enter Message' field. The maximum number of characters for each SMS message is 100.
