How to Send Ringtones to Verizon Cell Phones

1. Depending on whether you want to send ringtones to your Verizon cell phone from your computer or from another cell phone, there are different steps you must take. First we will look at how to send ringtones to your cell phone from a computer.
2.
First you need to locate the ringtone you want to send from your computer to your Verizon cell phone. Ringtones can come in different file formats, but the most common is .mp3. See the resources below for links on how to create ringtones from existing .mp3 files. Once you locate the sound file, open up your email account. Compose a new message and attach the picture you wish to send. Now, for the recipient's email address, enter your 10-digit phone number followed by '@vzwpix.com'. So if your phone number was (123) 456-7890, then you would type '1234567890@vzwpix.com' into the recipient field of your email client. You will soon get a picture/sound message on your cell phone. Then save the ringtone onto your cell phone!
3.
If you have a sound or ringtone you want to send from your cell phone to a Verizon cell phone, that is also fairly simple. While it may differ from carrier to carrier or cell phone to cell phone, just select the sound/ringtone you want to send. You should be able to bring up an options menu and select 'Send file'. Then enter the phone number you'd like to send it to, and voila! Be warned that many Verizon cell phones don't let you send custom ringtones, but do let you send recorded sounds.
