How to Unlock an LG KS360 Phone for Free

1. Get your KS360's16-digit IMEI number by typing '*#06#' into the keypad. Make a note of this and set it aside momentarily.
2. Contact your service provider's tech-support department and request an unlock code. If they need a reason, tell them that you plan on selling your phone or that you're traveling overseas and you're going to be using foreign SIM cards for a while. You'll need to give them your IMEI number and mobile number. They should then email the unlock code to you.
3. Power down your phone and slide off its back cover. Remove the battery and locate the SIM card. Slide the SIM card out and replace it with the SIM card from your new service provider. Replace the battery and turn your phone back on.
4. Select 'Cancel' when your screen says 'Phone Restricted.' A new menu should pop up that says 'Phone Restriction Code.'
5. Enter the unlock code that you received in a previous step, then select 'OK.' Your LG KS360 is now unlocked.
