3. Add phone numbers to your contact list. On the main Skype screen, click the 'New' tab on the upper-left corner and select 'New Contact.' A new window will open, and on the bottom, under 'More Things You Can Do.' Click 'Save a phone number in your Contacts list.' Enter the name of the person you wish to SMS and his mobile phone number.
4. Buy Skype credit. Return to the Skype home page, and click the 'Price' tab on the top. Then click 'Skype Credit,' which is located under 'Prices.' Now click 'Buy Skype Credit' and log in to your account if you are not already logged in. Have your credit card ready and select the amount of credit you would like to purchase.
