How to Send an SMS at No Charge

1. Log into your e-mail. Enter the 10-digit phone number and the domain name, e.g. 5551212@vztext.com. See References section for cell phone provider domain names. When your message is complete, press 'Send.'
2. Visit the recipient's cell providers website. Navigate through the site and click on the 'Send a Text Message' link.
3. Enter the recipient's phone number. Type your message. Enter any remaining information, such as your name and call back number. Press 'Send' to transmit the message.
