How to Get Free Ringtones on a Verizon Cell


My Tiny Phone
1. Sign up at mytinyphone.com to create free ringtones (see Resources) for your Verizon cell phone. Select 'Browse' to upload your MP3 music, then click 'Upload.' Wait for the upload to finish.
2. Use the 'start' and 'end' buttons to measure the duration of your ringtone. You can move the buttons so that your ringtone can start and end at the desired part of the song you want. Once satisfied with your ringtone, click on 'Get Your Tone.' Add the artist's name, title and category of the song. Click on 'Get Your Tone' again, and then select 'Download.'
3. Download your ringtone to your computer, and save it as a MP3 file. Send the ringtone to your Verizon cell phone by adding your number, including the area code, into the field provided. Click on 'Send To Phone.'

4. Go to mobilereelz.com (see Resources) to convert your MP3 music to a ringtone. In the first step, click on 'Browse' to upload your MP3 music from your files on your computer. Wait until the upload is finished.
5. Select the range of the song to be converted into a ringtone. Use the start and end buttons provided to select the area of the song you would like your ringtone to be. Be sure to keep your ringtone at 30-second minumum.
6. Title your ringtone, and then choose the format of the ringtone with which your Verizon cell phone is compatible. Select Verizon as your mobile carrier, and then enter your cell phone number, including the area code, in the field provided. Select the genre of your ringtone, and click on 'Convert & Send.'

7. Go to ventones.com and sign up to become a member (see Resources). In the top left corner, click on 'Create Free Ringtones.' Upload your MP3 music file by clicking on 'Choose File' and then click on 'Upload Song.' A window will pop up showing the upload's progress. When upload is complete, the page will automatically go to the next step.
8. Create your ringtone by first typing the song's title and the artist's name into the fields provided. You have an option to add a two-second fade at the beginning and end of the ringtone. You also can add treble, which will add more detail to the ringtone.
9. Drag the white box to the desired part of the song you want your ringtone to be. You can also change your ringtone's length. When finished editing, click on 'Create Tone.'
10. Read the directions carefully on the current page. Ventones will give you directions on how to save your ringtone to the correct format. For Verizon cell phones, there are usually a couple of options of getting your ringtone to your Verizon cell phone.
