How to Send an SMS From Access

1. Turn on the computer.
2. Install SMSLibX to add text-messaging capabilities to Access (see the Resource section for a link to download SMSLibX).
3. Plug your GSM modem into the USB port of your laptop.
4. Open Access from the 'Start' menu.
5. Load your SMS database by clicking 'File' and then 'Open.'
6. Run the SMSLibX program in Access.
7. Type the phone number, then the message into the appropriate text boxes, and click 'Send SMS.'
