How to Make a Gmail Account Without SMS

1. Launch your Web browser and navigate to the Google website. Click the 'Gmail' link at the top of the screen. Click the 'Create an Account' button near the bottom of the next page.
2. Enter your name, the email address you want, a password, your location and your date of birth. Select a security question and answer that will be used in the event you forget your password.
3. Type the word verification code into the input box to prove that you are human and not a bot. Review Gmail's terms of service and click the 'I Accept' button.
4. Select the 'Phone Call' option on the next page and enter your phone number in the space provided. Click 'Call.'
5. Wait for your phone to ring. This can take up to 10 minutes, although the call usually comes through in just a minute or two. An automated voice attendant will give you a four-digit code. Write it down and hang up the phone.
6. Enter the four-digit code that you just received in the verification box on the last page of the setup screen to complete process and activate your Gmail account.
