How to Send an SMS to Sprint

1. Open your text messaging application on your cell phone. Enter the Sprint user's cellular telephone number in the 'Recipient' or 'To' field. Enter your message in the 'Message' or 'Body' text box, then press the 'Send' button to send the message. Once sent, the message will be immediately delivered to the Sprint user's cell phone.
2. Open the email client on your computer, then compose a new message. In the 'To' field, enter the Sprint user's telephone number with no extra characters, followed by '@messaging.sprintpcs.com.' For example, if the telephone number is 407-555-1111, enter '4075551111@messaging.sprintpcs.com' into the 'To' field. Enter a message into the email message box, then click 'Send' to send your message. The user will receive the email in the form of a text message on his or her phone. When the user replies, the reply will be delivered to your email inbox.
3. Go to the Sprint website and sign into your Sprint account if you are a Sprint customer. Once signed in, go to the Sprint '2Way SMS' website in your web browser (see Resources). Enter the Sprint user's phone number in the 'Recipient' field, then enter your message in the box labeled 'Message.' Click 'Send' to send your message.
