How to Send a Free SMS to Multiple Recipients


Using Text4Free
1. Go to the website Text4Free. (See Resources.)
2. Enter the phone number of the first recipient in the 'Number' field and select the network carrier from the drop down list.
3. Click 'Click to Add Another Recipient.'
4. Enter the number of the second recipient in the new field.
5. Repeat Step 3 and Step 4 to add as many recipients as you want.
6. Type your message in the message box.
7. Enter the security code as you see it in the image.
8. Click 'Send Message(s).'
Using Google Chat
9. Create a Google account if you don't already have one. Go to Gmail (see Resources), click the 'Sign Up' button and fill out the form. Once you have an account of your own, sign in to your Gmail account. Click the 'Settings' link once your Gmail page loads.
10. Click the 'Labs' tab. Check the 'Enable' radio button next to 'Text Messaging (SMS) in Chat.'
11. Enter the number of the first recipient in the field under the 'Chat' box. Click 'Send SMS.'
12. Enter all the other phone numbers in the 'To' field and separate them with commas.
13. Type your SMS in the message box, and click 'Send.'
Using ICQ
14. Download and install ICQ on your computer. (See Resources.) It is an IM client that lets you send and receive SMS just like Google Chat. You can download the app from its website.
15. Launch ICQ after installation.
16. Enter all the cell phone numbers in the 'To' field, separated by commas.
17. Enter your SMS in the message box.
18. Click 'Send.'

How to Make Free International Calls on an iPhone


1. Download an app that supports free calls to other users in the network (see Resources).
2. Open the app on your iPhone from the home screen.
3. Sign up and become a user on the service you choose on your iPhone by following the prompts with the app you choose.
4. Get the user name or assigned phone number of the person you would like to call internationally.
5. Enter the user name or assigned phone number into the app to make your phone call.
6. Wait for the phone to ring and the caller to pick up and complete your international phone call.

How to Make a Free Call on a Mobile Phone


Free Call using Fring
1. Click the Fring link in Resources below to download a free mobile application that allows you to make free calls using your cell phone. When you open the link in Resources, click the big green button, on the left-side margin, that says 'Download Fring.'
2. Select your country and cell phone type in the respective fields. Also, enter your cell phone number and email address. Click 'Join.' You will then receive an SMS on your handset.
3. Read the SMS on your phone and select the 'Download' link. The installation will automatically begin. You will be guided through the installation step by step.
4. Register your Fring software after the installation is finished. Choose a nickname and password. Press the 'Registration' button on the bottom of the screen when you're finished entering other information.
5. Open Fring on your phone. Go to 'Start' (if you have a Windows mobile) or the menu that contains the installed applications, and locate the Fring shortcut. Open the shortcut to log in to the system. Fring will then automatically import all contacts on your cell phone. This will allow you to make the call simply by searching the name from your phone book.
6. Search a name in your contact list for making a call. Go to the 'Menu' of the contact and select 'Call.' You will then hear a dial tone and your call will be connected. If the other person is not using Fring at the moment, you will be charged according to your cell phone plan rate.
Free Calls using Barablu
7. Click the Barablu link in Resources below. When the page opens, select your country name from the dropdown list. Also, enter your cell phone model and phone number. Enter the verification code on the page and click the 'Download' button. Upon entering these details, you will be sent an SMS by the Barablu website.
8. Open the SMS on your cell phone and click the link provided in the text. This link guides you through the Barablu installation on your phone. Simply follow the on-screen instructions on your phone screen to complete the installation.
9. Open the installed application on your phone from the menu. The application will list of all your contacts who have Barablu installed on their phones. You can make a call to any of these cell phone numbers for free. Keep in mind that you will be charged regular calling rates (as per your cell phone plan) for calling contacts who do not have this application installed.

How to Send a SMS to Zong


Setting up Zong Account
1. Visit Zong.com and hover over the tab 'My Zong.' Click the option 'Create an Account.'
2. Enter your country name from the drop-down menu, followed by your mobile phone number.
3. Enter your email address in the next field and create a password to access your Zong account.
4. Confirm your password and select a security question. Enter the answer to the security question in the appropriate field.
5. Click the box to agree to the terms and conditions, and then click 'Continue.'Enter your credit card information on the next screen (if applicable) and click 'Submit.'
Replying to Zong
6. Visit a Zong-capable website and select an item to purchase. Click the link 'Buy with Zong,' then enter your mobile phone number into the appropriate field.
7. Retrieve your mobile phone and locate the text message from Zong in your message in-box. Press the 'Menu' key and select 'Reply.'
8. Enter 'Confirm' into the message field followed by selecting 'Send.' This will confirm your purchase through Zong.

How to Download SMS From Motorola Phones


1. Connect your cell phone to your computer with the Motorola USB cable and allow a few seconds for the Motorola Phone Tools application to launch on your desktop.
2. Click the 'Messages' tab on your Motorola Phone Tools homepage and click the box for the message you would like to download, 'Inbox,' 'Outbox,' or 'Drafts.'
3. Right-click on the file(s) that you would like to save and click 'Save Target As' in the pop-up menu.
4. Find a folder to save your text messages in and click 'Save.' The text messages will be stored in this folder on your computer until you delete them.

How to Block Your Number When Calling Toll Free


1. Create a free Google Voice account (see References). Follow the prompts and enter your land line or cell phone number. When given the option to create a Google Voice number, select 'Yes.' You will also have the opportunity to set up visual voice mail with Google Voice. This is optional.
2. Use your land line or cellphone to dial *67 and call your Google Voice number.
3. Press '*' and enter your PIN.
4. Press '2'. This enables you to dial out from voice mail.
5. Dial the toll-free number. Dialing from Google Voice hides the source number from the ANI technology, keeping your number blocked and safe.

How to Send a Free SMS to a Moroccan Phone Number


txtDrop
1. Open the txtDrop web page and enter your name or mobile phone number in the 'From' field.
2. Enter the recipient's eight-digit Moroccan mobile phone number in the 'To' field.
3. Click the drop-down arrow and select the recipient's Moroccan mobile service carrier.
4. Enter your message and click 'Send.' txtDrop does not have a character limit for text messages.

5. Open the SMS Free 4 All web page and click to enter the recipient's eight-digit Moroccan mobile phone number.
6. Enter your message in the 'Message' field. Message limits are 160 characters, including punctuation and spacing.
7. Enter the verification code.

9. Open the Text4free web page and enter the recipient's eight-digit Moroccan mobile phone number.
10. Click the drop-down menu and select the recipient's mobile phone provider.
11. Enter the your message. Text4free has a character limit of 140 characters per message, including spacing and punctuation.
12. Click the drop-down menu and click the number of times you would like your message send.
13. Enter the verification code and click 'Send Message(s).'
