How to Send Free Text Messages Around the World

1. Go to free international text messaging sites such as Free Text Messenger, Free SMS, or Cellop (see Resources). These sites don't require you to sign up for an account.
2. Enter the mobile number of the person you want to send a message to. Enter your name or your phone number as the sender.
3. Click on the recipient's cell phone carrier from the pull down list. Some websites such as Cellop make the carrier selection optional.
4. Compose your message.
5. Click 'Send.'
