How to Unlock the Sony Ericsson for Free


1. Turn your phone on, and type the following number combination on your keypad:*#06#This will bring up your IMEI number. Record this number.
2. Use your computer to find a code unlocking website, such as the one located in the Resources section.
3. Input your IMEI number into the website to receive an unlocking code for your phone. Record this number.
4. Insert your new SIM card by removing the battery door on the back of the phone and removing your old SIM card from its card slot. Insert the new card into the card slot and close the battery door. Your phone will now prompt you to enter the unlocking code.
5. Enter the unlocking code, which you received in Step 3, into your phone to unlock it and begin using your new SIM card.
