How to Connect a Phone in a Dodge Caravan


Mopar Setup
1. Push the Uconnect button on your Dodge Caravan's Mopar console. The button features a telephone icon. Wait for the system to prompt you to continue.
2. Say 'Set-up.' Wait for the system to prompt you to continue.
3. Say 'Phone Pairing.' Wait for the system to prompt you to continue.
4. Say 'Pair.' Wait for the system to prompt you to continue.
5. Launch your cell phone's Bluetooth utility.
6. Choose 'Uconnect' from the list of nearby Bluetooth devices.
7. Enter the passcode '0000' when the system prompts you to do so.
8. Power off and restart your cell phone to reload its Bluetooth connection. Doing so connects your handset and Caravan's Uconnect.
Factory Uconnect Setup
9. Push the Uconnect button, which is located on the Dodge Caravan's rear-view mirror and features a telephone-shaped icon. Wait for the system to prompt you to continue.
10. Say 'Set-up Phone Pairing.' Wait for the system to prompt you to continue.
11. Say 'Pair a Phone.' Wait for the system to prompt you to continue.
12. Say a 4-digit number of your choosing. Make sure this is a number you can readily remember, as you must use it as a Bluetooth passcode on your cell phone. Wait for the system to prompt you to continue.
13. Launch your phone's Bluetooth utility.
14. Choose 'Uconnect' from the list of Bluetooth devices.
15. Enter the passcode you created in Step 4. Your phone and Dodge Caravan will be connected once the phone and Uconnect pair.
