How to Send an SMS to Another Country
1. Press the 'Menu' button on your cell phone and go to 'Messages' or 'Messaging.'
2. Select 'New' or 'Compose a new message.' The exact option varies with the make and model of your phone.
3. Type your message. Also, enter the phone number of the person to whom you want to send the message in the correct format. Make sure you enter the international dialing code '1,' followed by the country code, before entering the cell phone number.
4. Press 'Send' when your message is ready to be delivered.
