How to Send a MP3 to a Phone by SMS

1. Open your Internet browser, log in to your email and compose a new message. Find the cellphone service provider's gateway address. For example, to email a text message to a Verizon Wireless mobile phone, send your message to (10-digit phone number)@vmobl.com. AT&T is (10-digit phone number)@txt.att.net, and T Mobile is (10-digit phone number)@tmomail.net. You can find the address for your specific service provider in the References section link.
2. Attach your MP3 file to the email. Click on the attachment link in your email. It usually appears as paperclip symbol. It is possible to attach more than one file, but not unlimited files. The number of files you can attach depends on their size, email attachments have a file-size limit.
3. Email the message to the cellphone. Your email message will now be sent to the cellphone in the form of an SMS message.
4. Open the SMS message you just sent and download the attachments. Once you download the attachment, you can choose which folder you want to save it to. Once you save the file, you can play it on your phone's music player or set it as a ringtone.
