How to Convert iPhone Text Messages to MHT or HTML Documents

1. Connect your iPhone to your computer, then open iTunes, select the iPhone and click 'Sync' to sync it with your computer.
2. Find the file containing the text messages. This file is likely named '3d0d7e5fb2ce288813306e4d4636395e047a3d28.mddata,' or possibly '3d0d7e5fb2ce288813306e4d4636395e047a3d28.mdbackup.' On Mac OS computers, it appears in a subdirectory of 'User,' 'Library,' 'Application Support', 'Mobile Sync' and 'Backup.' On Windows computers, click 'Start,' type '%APPDATA%' and press 'Enter,' then double-click 'Apple Computer,' 'MobileSync,' 'Backup' and finally whatever subdirectory appears there; the message file is in this subdirectory.
3. Point your browser to Iphone-sms.com and click 'Browse.' Select the file you located in Step 2, then select the 'HTML' radio button and click 'Submit.' Follow the on-screen instructions to download the HTML file.
