How to Find a Person for Free by Cell Phone Number

1. Call the cell phone number yourself. Even if the person who owns the number chooses not to answer, her outgoing voice mail message may reveal her identity.
2. Search social networking websites such as 'Facebook' and 'MySpace' using the 10-digit phone number as a search term. As of January 2011, users on these types of websites can opt to publish their phone numbers on their profile. If the person who uses this number has done so -- depending, of course, on his personal privacy settings -- a search for the phone number will pull up his profile.
3. Point your browser to any of the links listed under 'Resources' and perform a reverse phone lookup using the number. Although it's not guaranteed that the number will pull any results -- mobile numbers are sometimes automatically 'unlisted' -- doing so will take you only a few moments and it's possible you could get a match.
4. Use the 10-digit mobile number as a search term on Bing, Google or Yahoo! If the person who owns the number has published it anywhere online, whether in conjunction with a business she owns or simply as a means of contacting her, a search for it will pull up these records, revealing her identity to you.
