How to Send Text Messages Through AOL

1. Choose the friend you want to send the message to from your list of offline buddies. A box will pop up and you can choose the form of message you want to send.
2. Click the cell phone icon to send a text message to your offline friend.
3. Enter your friend's phone number, including area code, in the phone number box.
4. Compose your message in the text box below where you put the phone number.
5. Click the 'Send' button to send the message to your friend.
