BlackBerry SMS Options

Using SMS for Twitter
Subscribers with an unlimited SMS package can send and receive SMS commands and updates to Twitter. Through this, they can post tweets and keep track of their friends and favorite celebrities using their mobile phones. Since they are using an unlimited SMS package, they will not incur any additional charges even if they use this service often.
Working With Quicker SMS
Another option a BlackBerry user can choose for sending SMS is 'Quicker SMS.' Typing messages on a computer with its full keyboard function can be more convenient and faster than keying in messages on a mobile phone. Quicker SMS is an application that allows you to view, send and forward text messages using a computer. Additional features include sending text message to a contact group in just one click and importing contacts from the BlackBerry phone to the computer. This option is a useful tool for BlackBerry users who often work near computers.
Separating SMS and Email In-Box
Some Blackberry models have a shared in-box for SMS messages and email messages. You can separate the in-boxes if you want. Do this by navigating from the main menu to the Messages menu, selecting 'Options,' then 'SMS and Email Inboxes.' This menu has three options showing on its drop-down list. You can select from 'Theme Controlled,' 'Combined' and 'Separate.' Choosing Separate will set up different in-boxes for SMS and email messages. If you want to restore the shared in-box, go back to this list and choose 'Combined.'
