How to Save SMS Messages From an iPhone to a PC

1. Connect your iPhone to your computer using the USB docking cable.
2. Open DiskAid. Click the drop-down menu in the lower left corner and select 'Root Folder.' Click 'Go Ahead' in the dialog box that appears.
3. Click 'User' in the far left column, then click 'Library' in the second column, then click 'SMS' in the third column, and finally click 'sms.db.' Click 'Copy to Folder' in the upper left corner.
4. Open 'Explorer' to browse your hard drive. Type 'sms.db' into the search bar to locate the copied file. Right-click the file, select 'Open With' and choose 'SQLite Database Browser.'
5. Click the 'File' menu at the top of the screen. Select 'Export,' and then click 'Table as CSV file.' Choose 'message' from the drop-down menu of the dialog box that appears; then save the file with a CSV extension, such as 'sms.csv.'
6. Open the file with Microsoft Excel, or a similar spreadsheet reading program, to view the texts.
