How to Use a Computer as a Hands

1. Activate Bluetooth on your cell phone. You can usually find this option under the 'Applications' or 'Settings' menu.
2. Pair your cell phone with your computer. Set up a new partnership on your phone, which will prompt it to scan for Bluetooth devices in the area. Select your computer name from the list and confirm.
3. Create a passkey. Use the phone keyboard to enter a four-digit passkey of your choice. Enter the same passkey into your computer when requested, and click 'OK.' Your computer will show 'Bluetooth Connection Successful.'
4. Select the hands-free option on your cell phone and confirm. Choose your computer name from the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone and set it as your hands-free device. A headset icon will appear at the top of your phone screen.
5. Answer the phone when it rings by clicking the pop-up that appears on the bottom right of your computer screen. You will be able to see the caller's number and will have the option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the call.
