How to Send an SMS Programmatically


1. Navigate to a free automatic SMS messaging websites such as CDYNE, AutoMsg or Club Texting. All of these either have free trial SMS periods or free services. Register with the service you want to use and download the application software to your computer.
2. Connect your phone to the computer using the USB cable. Insert one end of the cable into the phone and the other into the open USB port on the computer. Make sure the connections are firm.
3. Locate and click on the application you downloaded. Enter the requested phone and personal information such as your name, cell phone number and cell phone provider. Continue following the on-screen prompts to install the application on the cell phone. Refer to your cell phone user manual for installing software applications, if the process is not straightforward.
4. Disconnect the cell phone from the computer once the installation is complete. Restart your cell phone and locate the new program either on the initial screen or by going to 'Menu,' 'Media' and 'Downloads.' Otherwise, if you can't find the program, refer to your cellular phone user manual to locate downloaded applications.
5. Enter the SMS texts that you want to send automatically. This could be a message such as 'Unavailable. I will contact you soon.' Other types of automatic schedule messages are available You can schedule them by following the SMS message instructions on the cell phone screen.
